How To Be On Staff!

The Santa Fe rail Council is  interested in hiring qualified Scouts and Scouters that are interested in joining our camp staff. We want youth and adults who are interested in putting forth the effort to provide all campers with a highlight experience while they attend SPANISH PEAKS SCOUT RANCH.

We need adults to manage our support services and program areas and youth to join the areas that they feel qualified to staff. The staff will be at SPSR for 8 weeks — 1 week of staff training, 1 week of Cub Scout Camping, and 6 weeks of Boy Scout Camping. Camp will open on the 2nd Sunday in June and finish on the 1st Saturday in August. We offer salaries at or above those paid at camps throughout America.

We are proud of the camp staff that we have hired over the years. They understand the need to provide customer service and they have been hired because they exemplify the Scout Oath and Law. We encourage everyone to apply. We look forward to counting on our staff to live up to the great tradition that has been established by the past staffers that have made SPANISH PEAKS SCOUT RANCH a class act!!
