Through its volunteer leadership, the Santa Fe Trail
Council reaches more than one out of five Cub Scout-age boys (19.6%) and hundreds of older youth
with programs designed for specific age developmental needs. All programs share the common
goal of teaching character; citizenship, and fitness.

TIGER CUBS - BOYS IN FIRST GRADE
Boys learn new skills in partnership with an adult family member They
follow! the motto "Search, Discover, Share!", working together on at-home
projects plus a monthly event with other Tiger: Cub boys and adults. |

CUB SCOUTING-BOYS 2ND-5TH GRADES
Family and neighborhood centered, Cub Scouts work on award requirements with
their families and meet weekly for age specific activities in small groups
(dens) led by volunteer leaders.. Monthly pack meetings bring dens and
families together for recognition and fun. |
BOY SCOUTlNG-BOYS 6TH-I2TH GRADES
Camping, outdoor activities, and a challenging advancement program develop
self-confidence and leadership skills, and introduce boys to over 100 hobby
and career choices. They learn by doing with weekly boy-led meetings and
monthly camping trips. |

VENTURING
Venturing is
for young men and young women ages 14 to 20. It includes challenging
high-adventure activities, sports, and hobbies for teenagers that teach
them leadership skills, provide opportunities to teach others, and give
them an opportunity to learn and grow in a supporting, caring, and fun
environment. |
