CUB SCOUTS & PARENTS GO CAMPING TOGETHER THIS SUMMER
Adventures on the High Seas 2011 FOR TIGER CUBS, WOLVES, BEARS AND WEBELOS SCOUTS
Akela Adventure Camp is an organized two night camping program that runs from Friday evening to noon Sunday. Cub Scouts and their accompanying parent(s)/adult guardian have the opportunity to learn outdoor living skill in a fun and safe environment. Moms and dads may find the kid in themselves again as they join in the fun with their sons!
May 20-22 Adventures on the High Seas Camp 2011 Cub Program is designed to accommodate all Tiger Cubs Wolves, Bears, and Webelos. They will have fun camping in their tents with their parents, eating in the spacious dining hall, and spending the weekend participating in activities such as: June 3-5 Webelos Woods Camp 2011 Webelos
Woods is
held for the Webelos age cub
scout (3rd Grade Bears moving up to Webelos can attend). The
boys will nearly complete their Readyman, Outdoorsman and
Showman. Sections taught will be emergency
action principals, rescue breathing, choking, bleeding and shock, water
safety, poison safety and camp cooking. Each boy will prepare
his own dinner, other meals will be prepared by the staff.
There will be time to shoot BB guns and do archery. We will
have a campfire Saturday night and a short Church service Sunday morning * BB Guns *Archery * Hiking * Games * Crafts * Treasure Hunt * Nature * Campfire * Canoeing *
Both camps are filled with fun and learning! Mark them on your calendar May 20-22, 2011 or June 3-5, 2011 come and camp or just come out on Saturday for all the activities.
